Conscious Communication For Beginners (Madison)

Location: Friends' House, 1704 Roberts Court, Madison, WI
Date: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of every month
Time: 7:00 - 8:30pm
Contact: Mary Kay Reinemann at mkreinem@charter.net and ask to be put on the contact list for the 2017-18 Friends’ House Community of Practice.

 There is no fee for the group practice and donations to support the space and warmth offered by the Friends' community are gratefully accepted.  Newcomers are welcome year round, and we ask that you read the book through the chapters we are currently studying if possible as that will make it easier  to participate.

Continuing Conscious Communication (Madison)

There is no fee for attendance and donations to support the space and warmth offered by the Friends' community are gratefully accepted. This group is intended for those who have completed at least a year of practice with the Friends' Beginner's Group or the equivalent.  If you are unsure which group would be best for you to join, please contact Mary Kay (the facilitator) for assistance.  We assume knowledge of the basic principles, steps and parts of NVC as well as practice applying these in your own life. Introductory material is not taught in this group. Continuing members are encouraged to attend the introductory classes to mentor newcomers and to deepen their own understanding of the basic skills and principles.

East Side Conscious Communication for Beginners

There is no charge for this group as Calming Grounds has offered their space on a donation basis. Donations are gratefully accepted to help provide for the space, which is kept warm and clean for us (usual donations are in the $2-4 range when possible.) Newcomers are welcome year round.

Joyful Path Conscious Communication Practice Group

Summary: This practice group will do a systematic study of Marshall's book Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life - 3rd edition. The group will practice the concepts taught in each chapter of the books using a variety of different methodologies such as private introspection, partner dialogs, role-playing, and interactive games. A formal syllabus will be provided via e-mail with a proposed schedule for the sessions when asked to be put on the contact list. It is encouraged to review the material on the syllabus prior to attending a session. You can join us anytime. There is no fee for the practice group.
